Pause. Think clearly. Lead deliberately.
me
About
I have spent more than twenty five years helping leaders and teams turn pressure into rhythm and purpose into performance. My work has taken me from mine sites to boardrooms, from government departments to start ups, and from classrooms to global organisations. I understand what it takes to lead through complexity, the weight of responsibility, the drive for results and the quiet fatigue that often follows success.
The leaders and teams who thrive are those who know when to pause, reflect, recalibrate, reacquaint and reengage. That belief sits at the heart of FutureShift Leadership, a practice built around the Superhabit of Pause and the habits that follow.
why
My
I believe every person and every team carries unique dignity, purpose and potential. Leadership is not about doing more. It is about becoming more human while achieving what matters most. When people thrive, performance follows.
I help leaders combine knowledge, conviction and practical skill (head, heart and hands), to create cultures where performance is both healthy and high.
My approach is built on human centred performance. It integrates psychology, leadership and systems thinking to unlock the collective genius of teams. It blends deep insight into how people think with clarity about how organisations work.
Experience and
I am a registered Organisational Psychologist and Executive Coach with more than two decades of experience in leadership, culture and performance.
I have designed and delivered leadership programmes, coached senior executives and guided organisational transformation across sectors including MedTech, FinTech, banking, healthcare, education, government and founder led businesses.
I have founded and led several ventures including Beyond Leadership, Values Navigator, Implexa, Art of Possible, and the HumanLink, each grounded in values based growth and systemic change.
expertise
Across every setting, the goal is the same. To help people get the best out of themselves and one another by connecting what they know, what they care about and what they do.
Pause is not about slowing down. It is about seeing clearly.
As the creator of FutureShift Leadership and author of Press Pause, I bring these ideas together in a framework that helps leaders, teams and practitioners move from motion to meaning.
How I
work

I help people see before they solve. That means creating space for honest reflection, finding alignment and helping teams make the shifts that matter most. Whether I am facilitating a leadership program, coaching an executive or advising an organisation through transformation, my work is human, reflective and practical.
I bring clarity to complexity and rhythm to performance. Every session balances insight with structure and empathy with accountability. Clients describe my work as quietly challenging, deeply human and refreshingly practical. They say it helps them breathe again, see differently and lead with renewed confidence.

A Life in
rhythm
For me, rhythm is not just a metaphor for leadership. It is a way of living, deliberate, grounded and real.
I enjoy hiking new trails and testing my limits as an enthusiastic but very amateur half marathoner. Those quiet, reflective moments outdoors often become the birthplace of new ideas.
Outside of work, I am a husband, father and lover of sport, particularly cricket and football of every kind.
